This story was originally published on June 4 it has been updated several times since then to add additional patios and information on Gov. Stay tuned for continuing coverage of reopenings as phase two proceeds, and reach out to with any information that should be on our radar. Here is a sampling of local restaurants that have already announced their intention to open outdoor seating areas as soon as possible. (An earlier announcement of the reopening plan included these businesses in phase three, not four.) Phase four will start in late July, at the earliest. The rest will have to wait for phase four, along with nightclubs. Note: In addition to restaurants, phase two includes some bars, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and beer gardens - the ones that provide seated food service. With each phase slated to last for at least three weeks, depending on how the coronavirus numbers are trending, that could mean that indoor dining returns in mid-to-late June. Indoor dining will resume at a later date within phase two, to be announced. Restaurants will be among the businesses that can reopen, but only outdoor dining will be allowed to start. Charlie Baker announced on June 6 that phase two of the state’s reopening plan will begin on June 8. Reopening day is here - and it comes with a lot of restrictions. ![]() I don't think I will go there again for dinner, maybe apps & drink to watch the sunset over the river from the patio.Massachusetts restaurants have been closed for dine-in service since mid-March in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. It wasn't terrible, and it was reasonably priced. But the bad taste of my initial wait and lack of service was left before the decent taste of food could change my disappointment. I pushed it all off and the fish was very good. And I have never and would never expect to find tomato sauce on salmon. I ordered the salmon and it came out with tomato sauce all over the top. We go no waitress for some time until we said something, to which they sent me a lovely waitress. NOW I'm So I go out there and she got a little scared and sat us. We sit a little longer now I'm getting a little So we sit I saw 3 tables leave and two more groups seated. So I went up to the girl and said, should I have put in my name? And she looked at me and said areyou the party of 6? I said no the party of two you told to sit in the lounge and you've seated 3 groups ahead of us. There was a "little wait" for the deck I was told so we sat in lounge (and yes.those two steps are a killer) so we sat there for a while.having a lovely conversation when I noticed at least 3 groups of people being seated, that were not there before us. We went there last night and I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. And MAD Fish, maybe could have been a better word to pair up.but good name or not.I want good seafood! The only comment I have about the place is.it looks like they stole the Naked Fish logo. Well we are a summer town, all ways will be always have been. ![]() Get a good cook and all I have to say is.They will come! You've got a captive audience. People are chomping at the bit for a good place to eat on the water, could be goldmine in the waiting! When I went in it had only been open for 3 days. Service was OK and they have got to do some rennovations.that entrance into the lounge or the patio is like a broadway entrance! -) ![]() We had apps and a glass of wine at Mad Fish, and it was pretty good. Their new cook is really good though, so I am keeping an open mind on the bwaye. They are so uinconsistent and the Nautical was absolutely terrible. Well let me tell you being a neighbor of Humrock I keep hoping to have some other place to go than the Bridgwaye. ![]()
